Recommendation letter from Chris (above photo).

As a first time rider, I can’t say enough about the wonderful buying experience my husband, Ken, and I had with Country Meadows Ranch. Not only did owner Linda Elliott help me select the Paso Fino that was perfect for my riding needs, but she located a trainer who taught me to ride. Now, nearly 2 years later, my horse “Condessa” and I are the perfect riding team. I have spent nearly 200 hours in the saddle, and Linda has become a friend who joins Ken and me on many of our rides.

Hi Linda,
I just wanted to tell you once again how much we appreciated your hospitality.  You certainly went far beyond the call of duty, and in our exceptionally tired state, I don't know if we told you how grateful we were.  The rest of the trip home was uneventful, and the new horse is here in good order.  Thanks again, and if you ever need a recommendation as a horse motel, let me know!

Linda, we had a great time at your beautiful home and a wonderful ride in the forest with you. Thanks so much for your extra info and time you spent with us. We had a great ride on Sunday also, we did go to the Trailhead by the fire tower anyway but we didn't get lost. It was great (3 hours worth!)Plenty of trailers but didn't see anyone else when we were out there-- it is so vast!
Thanks again and stay in touch.

Linda,

Hi!  I just wanted to thank you for placing Valedor in my home.  He is the best horse I have owned so far.  I love him and cherish his brio and intelligence!

He just keeps getting more handsome everyday.  We are almost ready to move.  He is doing very well at the farm.  The owners have ARABS, so they are used to fire and beauty, and do not mind it at all.  So his personality is blooming and everyone there just dotes on him.  He is busy being an ambassador for the breed as many people have never seen or heard of a Paso Fino!  He has had a little mini vacation, but after Labor Day we start ground work with a natural horse trainer to guide me.

He is quick to learn and eager to please.  I look forward to a long relationship and he will definitely be my last horse.

Thanks again!

About our visit from the WELLS FARGO Hitch:

Hi Everybody:

As some of you know, I offer my place as a "horse motel" to people traveling through Florida on I75.  Well, a couple of days ago, I had a phone call from a gentleman who told me he had 4 quarter horses to board, and that he was headed to Tampa.  He had a semi, so I didn't think he could get in our driveway,
but knew he could turn around at the end of the road. So, he said that would be fine and he'd be here at 4 p.m.

Well, it turns out that he was David Helmuth from Greensboro, Georgia.  He is sponsored by Wells Fargo Bank, and puts his horses and carriage in parades. He just got back from the Rose Parade in California.  He also took a trip across the US, from Maine to California with his Belgians pulling a wagon.  It took
him a year, was televised, and he's written a book about it.

He was bringing his rig down here to do the Gasparilla kids parade and he'll be back again on the 7th of February for the adult's parade.

Well, if that all wasn't enough excitement, I mentioned that I'd love to see his stage coach and horses all hooked up, and he told me I could go with them to the parade!!  So you know, I grabbed a few things, changed clothes and ran out the door!

I thought I was going to have to walk the parade route behind the coach.  There were a bunch of Wells Fargo people there, throwing beads to the crowd.  They told me they weren't allowed to ride in the coach, and that I should.  So I did!  I had a BLAST!  How exciting and fun this all was.  I'll never forget it!

And the ride to Tampa in the Semi was really cool too!!

Here are some photos.
